bibbysmith I don't know any of these 'Hymns', but I like the hammer dulcimer, drumming of all sorts and this recording is a perfect way to end the day – lying in bed and slowly drifting off to sleep. It leads to very pleasant dreams!

about

There's a lot of history behind the first recording Ted did. Working about 50 hours a week and having 5 kids. Late nights in the basement trying to start making a living playing and performing with the hammered dulcimer. This is how dreams are born. And who would've guessed that just 6 years later, Curt Smith and Jamie Wollam of Tears for Fears would show up in his backyard and jam with him and hang out with the family.

This 6 song EP is a fresh, instrumental collection of some of Ted's favorite hymns. The hammer dulcimer takes the lead with drums, percussion and swirling keys smoothing out the background. Satisfying and rich.

Hammered dulcimer with electronic synth textures and world drums.
